Our Mission

Is to inspire creativity, spiritual development and self-reliance to women in the regional community.

What is The Banyan Tree?  

We get asked this question a lot.  We offer classes and services to enrich the creativity, well-being and spiritual growth of women as well as men in the community. We do this by offering a variety of classes and services such as yoga, Reiki therapy, Hot Stone Massage, one-on-one counseling sessions, we offer three 12-step support group meeting per week, spirituality groups and we also have spiritual tools for retail sale. In addition, we  support women in third world countries by offering their fair trade items for retail sale.

We also empower local women in business by offering them the ability to merchandise their products and businesses at our various events such as the Women's Expo, consignment sales, Psyhic Fairs or just by networking with other women at the Banyan Tree.

The Banyan Tree has once again been awarded a Certificate of  Recognition from Beloit College acknowledging our contribution to the community and future of our youth by taking a stand against drugs and alcohol.

Our Yoga class is doing very well and we have had several requests to do a daytime session.  If you are intrested and want to join a class let us know what day of the week and the time and we will be happy to provide such a class.

What's New?

Beth Campisi has joined our staff as a massage and reflexology therapist. She can work both days and evenings. Just call us and we can set up appointments with Beth.

We are now offering "punch cards" for yoga sessions.  These cards give you more freedom for yoga attendance.  You don't have to be present every week. Some people find it hard to make that committment due to work, babysitters, etc., so we have tried to make it convenient for them by offering these cards. 10 punches cost $80 to be used at random.
