Women's Way Through The 12 Steps
Through recovery from addictions many women have found that a number of issues unique to women are overlooked in most 12 Step programs. As a result this class will offer a new, more accessible perspective on recovery from any addiction, one that acknowledges your needs and concerns as a woman. This new perspective is based on a more open exploration and more flexible interpretation of the 12 Steps as they relate to women in recovery. Therefore, we will be starting a class to run Tuesday evenings from 6 pm til 7:30 pm. We will start the class as soon as we get enough enrollment. The class will be led by Wanda Faust. We will be using the workbook and text "A Women's Way Through The Twelve Steps" by Stephanie S. Covington, Ph.D. You may purchase them at the Turtle Book Store, downtown Beloit. You will get a 10% discount when you mention the class. A donation of $2 is requested to cover costs of the class. This is a 13 week session. Call us and sign up now.
